KESI (rapper)
Oliver Chambuso or simply referred to as Oliver Kesi or just Kesi stytlized as KESI (born in 1992) is a Danish rap artist. He promoted himself through his own YouTube channel within the grime genre〔(MetroXpress: Unge kometer eksploderer uden pladeselskaber ) (in Danish)〕 also cooperating with others, notably Kidd. He also made music with a group of Nørrebro-based rap artists BOC (abbreviation for Bars of Crack or Bombs Over Copenhagen or Bombs Over Centrum). Success on the Internet with particular debut song "Byen Sover" (meaning the city sleeps) led to a series of concerts and interest from established record labels, such that Kesi, at the age of 18 signed with Universal Records in July 2011.〔(MetroXpress: Kesi - »Undergrunden betaler jo ikke mine regninger« ) (in Danish)〕
In August 2011 Kesi released his first official single "Slem dreng" (meaning bad boy).〔(Spolopdate: Oliver Kesi klar med første singleudspil )〕 This brought in great visibility in the media〔(SoundVenue: Her er dansk hiphops fremtid ) (in Danish)〕 and an appearance on TV 2 in a special feature〔(Nyhederne: Mød fremtidens rapstjerner her ) (in Danish)〕 Kesi also performed in a series of concerts, including at Roskilde Festival, Distortion-festivalen and festival Sounds.〔(SoundVenue: Se billeder fra Distortions Final Party ) (in Danish)〕 His follow up single on Universal is the single "Født I Dag" (meaning born today) produced by Benny Jamz from BOC and also the single "Ku godt". His debut album ''Bomber Over Centrum'' was released in February 2012 followed by ''Ung hertug'' in 2013 and ''Barn af Byen'' in 2015.
